Below is a list of tools/websites/tricks to help out any new Steemit users. If you have any questions/comments, feel free to post in the comments below.
SteemWhales.com
Ever wonder where you are (relatively speaking) in the steemit food-chain. Although there are a few websites that do this, I find http://steemwhales.com/steemit the most visually pleasing and easy to use. Going to this website, you can filter for those who have the most followers, make the most money, have the highest reputation, ect.... (See the pictures below)
How to Resteem
For those of you new on steemit you have probably seen people saying "I will resteem this...", but wonder what is resteeming and how do you do it. Simply put, Resteeming is very similar to sharing a post on Facebook. It posts on your "blog", but is technically still the post of the person who you resteemed it from (see below)
In order to resteem, all you have to do is outside the post, you will see a little bent arrow (as shown below). Once you click on it the post is resteemed.
SteemDB.com
Steem Database is a 3rd party tool that I typically use to see my Steem power (voting power), but also has stats on who voted on what and any recent activity on your channel.
Steem Wiki
Steem Wiki is basically a database where you can go to know anything about Steemit. Below is an example of one of the questions someone asked.
