This morning for the most part there are blue skies, smoke still lingering in the air but not to the point that I feel asthmatic like last night.
The smoke was so thick you couldn’t even see the sun, no sunset really just a glow and the haze disappearing.
Unlike the night prior where it had a vibrant orange glow to it and lit up the whole sky with the light reflecting off the smoke.
The moon was visible which really shows it wasn’t that thick at this point.
24 hrs forward till last night and boom I couldn’t even stand being outside, my brain kept seeing fog but the smell kept reminding me it was smoke. Eyes, nose and lungs burning constantly! Never seen anything like this first hand even when driving through the fires a few years back the smoke tended to plume very high before settling quite the distance away. I now know what it is like to be where it is settling as it is sitting with no breaks of clean air even though the night is super windy.
It’s clearing up for now but why? Fires still burn, did the wind change direction? Ohh dang think about the implications for those fighting the fire, completely new battlefront each time mother-nature gets involved. Mother Nature give us rain, early monsoon would be appreciated since this year you started all the dang fires with a lightning storm in the middle of a heat wave!
Will our karma debts from previous years ever be wiped clear? Years where we set records never to be broken for 60 years till now! Human caused fires have lost their record status this year, that’s a loss I am celebrating! We are getting wiser but it may be to late and we now must be thinking correctively.
Restore the balance and wipe the slate clear!
