When I joined Steemit, 9 months ago, I was a bit reluctant, to be honest. It looked too good to be true, so I really wanted to try it out and to get to the bottom of it, before jumping to conclusions. So I decided the best way to understand its ins and outs was a 30 days writing challenge, in which I commited to write one article per day. Now it's fun to look back and see all the steps I took and how this journey unfolded.
As I see many new writers joining Steemit, under much better conditions than I experienced, I thought it would be nice to start a new 30 days challenge to support them. And, truth to be told, also for having a consistent material to analyze the medium and long term impact of Hardfork 19. Now that the rewards are spread over a 7 days window, the changes are a bit more inertial, there is significantly more time needed until a change in the model gets fully implemented.
Rules of this 30 days challenge
- publish at least one post per day
- tag it
#challenge30days
- posts under 300 words (approximately) won't be considered
- topics must be consistent, but you're allowed to write about whatever you want, eventually
- I will upsteem at least 3 articles per day, at full power (that's 30% of my daily upsteem power), which, at the moment of writing, it's $6. Please understand that I will choose the posts as I see fit, but the general rule is: write in an interesting way, about interesting stuff. Humor and story-telling are a big plus.
- challenge will start tomorrow, June 21st
- no gambling, politics, violence and porn (nsfw) articles will be considered
Goals of this challenge:
- to enforce the habit of writing good stuff every day
- to ignite new relationships
- to discover new interesting people
- and, obviously, to consistently enjoy the rewards of a revolutionary social media platform
Looking forward to see your posts!
