One of the most important features - from a development point of view - of a blockchain community, the Steemit testnet, was finally deployed. according to an announcement made a few hours ago by the @steemitblog.
This testnet is designed specifically to test the upcoming Hardfork 0.20. There will be frequent restarts (as expected in a test environment). For the technical stuff, please head over the announced linked above and see what you have to do to install the testnet (hint: it will have a different chain_id
than the public net, and the content will not survive reboots, only balances).
All in all, I couldn't find any better news to start the weekend with.
