Since this weekend my attention is drawn to VIVAconomy. So far I read some posts on Steemit regarding VIVA, but only this morning decided to read VIVAconomy whitepaper (here).
I was very positively surprised on VIVA's story!
Although numerous posts are already in Steemit on the subject of VIVA, I felt the need to add another one since VIVA presents the view I try to voice within Steemit as well as to @ned in Steemit.chat the other day.
What Steemit is lacking IMHO to become more than a Social Network with a strong value for its currency Steem, VIVA claims to have solved.
I will not start repeating and writing long posts on what can be read in the whitepaper; However I try to provide you a comparison of what VIVA has and claims to what we have with Steemit/Steem.
A real important issue VIVA seems to solve is the stability of its virtual currencies.
None volatile currencies are the KEY requirement for any commercial business to start supporting virtual currencies.
Commercial business can pay a whole lot to be granted rights to use our services; if need be, they pay us with FIAT currencies. This will provide us funds for further developments AND a strong Steem.
VIVA also has: ATMs and Debit Cards.
The table below compares the key aspects from a user and business perspective.
Will we (need to) bring the missing key elements to Steemit/Steem to start
1) Commercial Business to be on-boarded;
2) Using Steem as a currency in our daily lives?
Please provide your feedback, ideas and plans.
Your feedback and discussions can and shall serve as feedback to the DMU (decision making unit) how to progress with Steemit and Steem.
