This was the design for the flyers I said I was working on that my elder brother @leczy helped me design (in less than 24 hours), although we are still working on a video clip and some other things about the event.
What is Steemit In Nigeria
Steemit In Nigeria S.I.N. is the culminates of all Nigerian meet-ups, it is the event aimed at capturing the Nigerian and African market for the Steem/Steemit ecosystem.
It is the event which brings the future of blogging to millions of Nigerians who are willing to explore.
It is an initiative by @ehiboss, @destinysaid, @gbenga, @jade56, supported by other steemians like @leczy, @fisteganos, @ogoowinner, @gloglo, @illuminatus, @lucashunterand liked by so many top steemians.
According to this site, Nigeria was listed among the top 20 African countries to invest in, and it is that drive that has led the team to not only forsee a steem and SBD dominant Nigerian economy. The aim is to make steem a bitcoin rival, and steemit the next facebook, while creating an avenue for the young and old to get paid for doing the legal things they love.
According to this site, only about 10.8% of the total working population are registered under the pension scheme leaving the remaining 89.2% unregistered, which is about 60 million unregistered workers.
Should they get fired, what will be the alternative, crime? I think not
Steemit does not give 100% assurances of a greener pasture, however, it does give a chance of subsistence, afterall, a little extra cash for free never hurt anyone.
So far we have been doing a lot of publicity with @gbenga doing a Steemit Virus campaign for the S.I.N. with @ehiboss, @illuminatus, @jade56 and @gloglo making flyers and car stickers and also planning inter-campuses steemit invasion in Osun and it's environs as publicity too for the event.
@ogoowinner has agreed to help with some areas in the Eastern part of the country and @leczy will be helping with the Federal capital territory F.C.T.
There is this saying that if you are born poor, it's not your fault but if you die poor, then it is your fault. We are trying to provide people with a fighting chance at unemployment at the very least, after-all, there are people who have quit their jobs for steemit.

We are still trying to get alternative accommodations, to provide options for individuals with varying pockets, that is why there is no official announcement on accommodation yet. We want to announce the venue and accommodation together.
We have a target audience pegged at 1,000 individuals pegged for the event, and a million registered users by the end of next year.
Currently we are working on our shirts for the publicity and the event slated for November 2 and 3, 2017 in Osun State,Nigeria.
How can you be of help?
As of now, we are trying to make avenue for total accountability for all funds for the event, although we have not collected anything from anybody as of yet.
We want a transparent process which follows due protocol.
You can help by spreading the word to every nook and cranny of steemit as everybody who knows about this event is a plus to the success of the event.
