5 Minutes...

Getting noticed is easier for some than for others...

Community Initiatives

Here on Steemit there are some great initiatives that help get deserving authors noticed. Some of my favourite include

  • The Daily Tribune
This daily post by @screenname highlights undervalued articles.
  • @steemtrail
SteemTrail is a community dedicated to expanding the STEEM/Steemit.com platforms.

  • Challenges
@makersunited compiled a list of challenges that are run regularly on Steemit. These challenges are a great way to get noticed for new authors. For a full list check out Amazing contests and challenges on Steemit
Everything from Art, Photography to Memes is included in these challenges.

  • Friendly Whales
There are many swimming around Steemit quietly upvoting, commenting and offering encouragement, helping to make Steemit better.

How can you help?

Please check out these initiatives and support them by commenting and voting on posts highlighted by them. Give 5 minutes of your time to check out these wonderful posts, even just once a week and you will make a difference.

Good Habits

In the last two weeks I have also proposed several other good habits which I am trying to get into.

  • When I log in head over to "#introduceyourself# to welcome a few new authors and find some interesting people to follow

  • I also head over to a few tags that interest me and read and comment on them to promote areas of interest for me here on Steemit.

Join me and develop a few habits that take just 5 minutes each time you log on.

Thank you for reading this. I write on Steemit about Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Travel and lots of random topics.
