Hello Steemit friends, Steemit was started in April 2016 and there is no ICO during that time, just Ned and Dan promoting it in several forums and slowly the community grow by word of mouth, and by July 2016 the price reached the peak of $4, however it started to drop all the way down to $0.07, I bought my first Steem at $1, after it dropped 50% to $0.5, I bought more, and after it dropped again to $0.25 I bought even more, and finally when it reached $0.07 I do not dare to buy anymore and think that I would lose all my money, however, just 1.5 years later the price is back to $4, what a journey
However, not only we need to check the price we also need to check the marketcap, as you can see, during last year, inflation of Steemit was originally set at 100% per year. This proved to be a disaster when Steem drop to $0.07 because inflation rate is too high making Steem worthless, so they change the inflation rate to 9.5% so that Steem can remain its value, thats why $4 last year was at 400 million marketcap and $4 today is at 800 million marketcap, meaning supply has doubled but dont worry because the inflation now is just 9.5% per year and will reduce year by year so that Steem will worth more and more every year
Looking at $4 per Steem I feel like selling for huge profit but I know one day Steem will reach $10 or even $100 so I just hold

Steemit是去年4月开始的，当时并没有ICO，只是ned和dan在几个论坛推广然后慢慢靠人传人散播开来，去年7月的时候价格曾经到过$4，后来就一路狂跌，最低跌到$0.07，当时我第一次买Steem是在$1的时候，后来跌到$0.5，我又加码，跌到$0.25，我再加码，后来再跌到$0.07我不敢加码了我还以为玩完了要归０了，时隔1年半，又从$0.07回到了$4，这一路走来真是千山万水酸甜苦辣难与形容
不过看图要看全面，因为1年前Steemit的inflation是每年增加100%来付给SP holder和写作者，而在跌到$0.07的时候大家都看不下去了觉得要把inflation减低到一年9.5%，那样steem才会值钱，不然的话每年通膨一倍就不值钱，所以你会看到虽然以前也是$4，可是marketcap才400 million而现在回到$4，marketcap已经达到800million，也就是说数量已经翻倍，不过大家不用担心，现在的通膨只是9.5%，而且还会每年慢慢减少，那大家握着的Steem就会越来越值钱
看到手头上的纸上利润真是心痒想卖，可是我相信很快价格就会突破$10，长期可能会突破$100，那到时候就发达了，所以还是忍一忍吧，我不卖
