Hello Steemit friends, today I want to talk about the mysterious Steem Dollar because normally Steem Dollar worth $1 but now it worth $2 for almost a week, I have read the white paper for more than 10 time just to understand a bit how it work
Okay, so total supply of Steem now is at 246,750,753, based on the current algorithm, every year the block chain of Steem will create 9.5% extra Steem to pay the author, curator and miner, which mean one year it will create extra 23,441,318 Steem, which mean every day around 64222
so how does it allocate the 64222? basically it is based on the Steem power vote to determine who get more, the more Steem Power you have, the more your vote worth, so let say everyone choose to be paid 50/50, meaning 50% been paid in Steem Power and 50% been paid in Steem Dollar
but the algorithm always treat Steem Dollar as $1, even though the Steem dollar now is worth $2
so the post that you earned 7 days ago that will pay you $10, you will get 5 Steem Power(assume Steem now worth $1) and you will also get 5 Steem Dollar( even though the Steem Dollar is now worth $2)
So basically after a day, the market will now have extra 30000 Steem Power and extra 30000 Steem Dollar, now the user have 2 option
- Convert their Steem Dollar to Steem (wait for 7 days)
- Sell their Steem Dollar to others
so technically if everyone also don’t convert the Steem Dollar to Steem, then Steem Dollar supply will increase, however, Steem Dollar supply in the market right now is actually quite low, which is only 3,344,551, around 1% of total Steem, which mean a lot of people have converted their Steem Dollar to Steem
Steem Dollar is extremely important for the system because without it, people might not like Steemit.com, imagine you wrote a post and below you are paid 10 Steem without the dollar sign, no one would know what that mean because 1 Steem might worth 7 cent or 4 dollars. Also some people don’t like fluctuation, so they can hold Steem Dollar with a peace of mind knowing that it will always worth $1
Since Steem Dollar is now value at $2, please make sure when you write article on Steemit you choose to be paid 50/50 but not 100% power up, so that you can get 50% extra
example a $10 post
- Choose to be paid 100% power up, you get 10 Steem Power(1 Steem is worth $1 now)
- Choose to be paid 50/50, you get 5 Steem Power and 5 Steem Dollar, since Steem dollar is now worth $2, you now earned $15, which is 50% extra
So hopefully Steem Dollar can stay at $2 longer so everyone will have 50% extra for their work

最近Steem dollar突然大涨，本来价值$1的Steem dollar竟然整整一个星期维持在$2，于是我读了white paper 10次才明白一点

你７天前的帖子要发钱给你了，总共是$10
比如现在Steem是价值$1，Steem dollar是价值$2
algoritm会发给你5个Steem power和5个Steem dollar（虽然现在steem dollar价值是$2，algoritm还是发5个给你，因为algoritm就是认Steem dollar是$1）
那市场上过了一天，就会增加了30000个Steem power和30000个Steem dollar，而用户拿到Steem dollar后可以做两个选择
１。把Steem dollar convert 成Steem（等七天）
２。把Steem dollar卖给别人
如果全部人都不把Steem dollar convert成Steem，那Steem dollar在市场上就会越来越多，我查了一下，现在Steem dollar总共有3,344,551，也就是Steem总量的1%多而已，因为有很多人都把他convert去Steem了
至于为什么当初不要把Steem发给写作者而发Steem dollar就是因为大家都喜欢看美金，如果没有Steem dollar的话，比如你写了一个贴显示你赚了10个Steem，没有人懂值多少钱，可能1个Steem才$0.07，那看起来很没意思，还有就是如果发给你Steem而完全没有Steem dollar，可能你拿着Steem然后一直暴涨暴跌可能你心理也不舒服，有些人拿着Steem dollar锁在$1心理就比较舒服
不过话说回来，现在Steem dollar $2，请大家一定要写作时放50/50，那你就能拿比较多，如果写作时放100%power up，那你赚$10就拿10个Steem power，可是你放50/50，你可以拿5个Steem power和5个Steem dollar，等于可以拿5+10 = 15（白白多了50%）爽翻了，希望Steem dollar可以久一点维持在$2，大家可以赚多50%久一点
最后就是记得按market，然后用Steem Dollar买Steem，１个Steem Dollar可以买到两个Steem
