I Love Steemit!

I really love Steemit!

You don't have to say something to actually imply it. Though I focused on bitcoin in my previous posts, it doesn’t mean that my nest egg only includes bitcoin. More importantly, I also treat Steem as an investment. - An asset that appreciates in value. The reason I love the Steemit platform is it’s Is one of the rare opportunities in the cryptocurrency world where people have the ability to earn money without risking any of their money or any of their capital in hoping that what they buy will go up and not down. This is the element of speculation and risk many people just can’t tolerate.

On the other hand, you could do something like cryptocurrency mining but that requires some solid capital investment for the mining gear as well. There’s always something in place where you can earn with some element of risk. The really great thing about Steem it is that you can earn without this kind of risk at all.

Anyone, anywhere in this entire world is free to sign up on Steemit and start posting straight away. We all have the opportunity to make money without having to put money in. I don’t buy Steem. I just keep posting content regularly and it generates me some income as you can see. Now it is absolutely true that there are other people out there who treat Steem, the kind of internal cryptocurrency of the Steemit platform as some kind of long-term investment. Everyone’s free to buy and sell whatever amount of Steem, whenever they wish and again just to be clear, for newbies, you don’t have to buy even a single steam in order to earn Steem. I've never actually thought of Steem as pure monetary investment for myself and I don’t see myself cashing in for Steem in the future either. That's not to say that Steem is a terrible investment. If I did think Steem was really great in any way, I don’t have any problem sharing that with you. It’s just great that you can store what you earn in the form of Steem power and although you can’t just trade out of it, it gives you weight on the platform.

There seem to be pretty convincing arguments from both sides so I dedicate this article to discuss the merits investing in Steem. I want you to have basically the main points/ideas. One of these is that Steem is actually a very inflationary cryptocurrency in some ways worse than British Pound or American Dollars. I understand though, that it can be offset by the fact that many more people will continue coming in and use the Steemit platform. This will create more demand for the Steem cryptocurrency in the long run, increasing its price.

There is still a lot of room for the price to go up in spite of inflation. I don't say that I am pro or against investing Ethereum or Bitcoin into Steem by now, because i'm still trying to formulate my own ideas and opinions around it. I’m also curious over where the actual value of Steem comes from and I couldn't give a very succinct statement because I've realised that I couldn’t see the same price pattern that I see in bitcoin and Ethereum. Although its general trajectory is every different, still, many traders probably earn significant amounts in short-term trading. I still can't give you a really precise clear explanation about its trajectory, so please feel free to comment your ideas below.

There is so much more to talk about why I love steemit, but I realized that most of my posts will speak for themselves and so far, I enjoyed my stay! It’s really true that people come in for the rewards and they stay for the community. It is actually pretty awesome because the platform now is still growing and it’s good to see the market cap has grown to more than 300 million dollars because of everyone’s participation in the community.

One more thing: It’s quite easy to invite people to come in. The moment I tell them that they can earn from posting and curating, they want to get started!

Because it's a platform that caters to long-term holders, it's kind of ingenious once you look into it. I actually read the white paper and the way it works is funny because this is actually a story about a gentleman walking by a fisherman with a bucket and the bucket was full of crabs. The bucket was open so the gentleman asked why he had the lid on the bucket open. He said: “Aren’t you worried that your crabs might get away? The fisherman replied: “Don't worry about it. If I had one crab, it would very easily get out, but there are many crabs. If one tries to escape, the others will pull it back down so, together, they share the same fate. This is kind of how Steemit works, except it is a really nice place that pays you in crab riches! Once you get in, you’ll realize how awesome it is.

Please upvote, resteem and follow me, thank you.
