[Steem is Rising!!] I powered down more than 3500+ SP because I had to.. - Now I'm feeling like an idiot.

That's right..

  • I had more than 4500 SP at the time I decided to power down.

The thing is, that I had a few rough months so I had to do it. - Especially when I found out that I could cash out a few extra hundreds per week by doing it.. - This money have made tons of things easier for me so I'm still glad I powered down. Otherwise, I would've had a much more difficult time, so it basically saved me. Steemit saved me.

However, I still feel like a stupid moron.

  • And why?

For the past few weeks now, I'm been following my passion, 101%. I stream and I share gaming related content. I work tons of hours to build an awesome "community". - And if I could've powered down today instead, I would've been able to purchase this:

A webcam, a green screen and a professional studio microphone. That's my main goal today. - That's what I'm aiming for. To improve my stream.

I love to stream and I love to interact with my audience. No matter if it's followers on my twitch channel, casual viewers who's stopping by for a few minutes or friends and family. I love to socialize. - That's also why it's important to me to improve my stream as much as I can.

  • And that's why I feel like a total moron when I see things like this:

Don't take this the wrong way..

I love to see how much the value of Steem and Steem dollars have grown and I wish it will skyrocket even further obviously.. But at the same time.. I kind of hate myself, because of my stupid decision to power down during the time it was worth less.. - That way, I've lost way more than I would've done if I powered down today.

  • Luckily, I've never been on Steemit because of the money.. But I've always seen the rewards as a huge bonus.

The rewards can and still will come, as I'll continue to contribute.. - But sometimes, life get's in the way.. And sometimes, you'll do things you'll regret. - I don't regret my decision, but I'm really sad over the fact that I had to power down.

If you've done something similar.. - Don't fear. You'll be back in no time. It's never to late to change things! - And Steemit will help you reach your new goals!
