Hi Dear Steemians,
When I joined Steemit 6 months ago, I wrote about effective goal setting in my first week on Steemit. That post had a final payout worth $184.84 and I had all the right to be excited. It was my first week and two of my posts had touched $200 already before this one's payout finalized below $200 due to sudden price drop.
You can read that post about effective goal setting here.
Setting a goal and then achieving it is a genuine pleasure.
Taking lessons from that post, I set a goal for myself some three months ago. I wanted to have at least 1000 Steem in my Steemit account by 31 December 2017. The goal is achieved. My wallet has more than 1000 Steem in it at the moment.
Please note that by Steem, I mean the sum of Steem and SP in the account because SP is basically Steem vested into the platform to gain more influence.
That's more than 1029 Steem in my wallet.
I am incredibly happy that I have managed to achieve target of having more than 1000 Steem in my wallet. The source is not only the rewards though. I have purchased some Steem when it was below $1 some weeks ago. I also traded all my SBD for Steem due to which Steem's quantity is way more than otherwise possible.
On the Way to 1000 SP & 60 Reputation Score!
That's my next target now for the remaining part of 2017. By 31 December, I must have 1000 SP (without powering up the current Steem balance) and 60 Reputation Score. These are not simple targets and a lot of effort is consistently required. But I do believe that with an amazing community around me, I will be able to achieve these goals as well.
To achieve these goals, all I have to do is to contribute.
That's what Steemit is about. One word. Contribution.
I thank every single person who helped me on the way to 1000 Steem. It was not possible without generous support that amazing Steemians have always extended.
Please upvote and resteem to help me take the first step towards 60 Rep score and 1000 Steem Power.
