I nearly missed it, had a really busy day:) But anyway - today is my blog's fifth birthday:) Five months of happy steeming - unbelievable, none of my blogs yet survived that long:)
In fact being a steemian is a wonderful experience. I said it before - and here I say it again: I'm really happy to be here. I always wished to have a regulary updated blog, and tried it for three years on different platforms, but none of them was good enough for it. And when I found steemit (well, when my husband introduced me to steemit) I understood that it's exactly what I need. Deviant Art was close to become my favorite platform, but the opportunity to share writing there is pretty poor, so it wasn't quite good for my goals.
The only thing that lacks me here on steemit is ability to create folders in my blog. You know, to sort different themed posts. But I hope one day it'll appear.
One more thing that confuses me a bit - it's hard for me to communicate sometimes. I speak English close to free level, but when it comes to understanding slang - I can be really confused. You know, language is like a living being, it changes all the time, and since I'm not a native speaker sometimes it's hard for me to understand what exactly my interlocutor means. But I'm learning:) And by the way my English also improved during these five months, and it's steemit to thank for;)
