YES I SAID LIVES!

See that super sexy man right there! He is my amazing selfless husband @shai-hulud and more importantly see those beautiful curls! He is cutting them all off to raise money to find a cure for leukaemia. But before cutting them all off we decided that we should at least see how long it is. So make sure you check out the video below to see his hilarious reaction to having straight hair.

He hasn't had his hair cut since before we got married, coming up on five years this April. We waited this long to take part in the World's Greatest Shave to ensure his hair won't go to waste. Once it is longer than 30cm it can be sent off to be made into a wig for a child suffering from hair loss associated with leukaemia. As you can see its much longer than that now.

Did you know that leukaemia is the most common cancer in children under the age of 15.

While we are both very happy for him to go bald to raise money for such a wonderful cause, I can honestly tell you we are both a bit scared of what he's going to look like...

See our problem!

We are aiming to raise $2,500 AUD, which is approx $400 SBD. To achieve this both @shai-hulud and I are donating all SBD from all posts with FCK Cancer in the title until early March. This is where it gets a little disappointing as we have been putting this out into the world for a few weeks now and seriously Steemit how could we let Facebook be winning the race! We have raised approx $700 to date and sadly only $50 of that had come from the community we love best!

Come On Steemians we know you don't want FB to win, we are so much better than that!

How can we beat FB?
