hey guys
I have been to delhi steemitmeet organised by @firepower. Here I want to thank him for his great efforts. It's so great of him to think of verybody as his family and create meetups so that everyone can meet, know each other better and make themselves being known by more in the community.
From organising the meetup, arranging the place, taking the ache to answer various queries and taking all kind of feedbacks is not an easy task and definitely not everyone's cup of tea. And he is doing this more for the people, some of them he rarely knows and helping them out in so many days.
The people who were there at the meetup already know how greatful most of the people present there were for all wwhat @firepower has done for them and had changed their life and a fe, who were new to the platform already knew @firepower and were full of questions and requests to him which is answered along with a smile only.
I had attended the jaipur meetup before and I had a great experience meeting everybody, talking , sharing and connecting. So when a meetup was happening in delhi, which is nearest to any place a meetup i can see happening, i didnt wanted to miss this one. I with my friends @aishwarya and @sauravrungta went to delhi for the meetup.
. It was scheduled in a CCd cafe in CP. The moment we enetered the cafe, we saw few people in different groups sitting at different tables and it was hard to guess, which group was the steem meetup group. The moment we thought of taking an empty sitting, we were told that it's reserved but then they ask if we were for meetup and then told we can sit, since it was for us only.
Later we realized that every group we were assummg for steemit was actually for steemit only.the arrangement was ineffective as it was not serving the purpose of meetup, the connection. Later, the arrangements were rearranged as in a circle, where everybody was facing each other and was more connected.
For me, connections are more promising and deep, when i am more in open and close to nature. I really realized how gratefu i was for the place choosen for jaipur meetup as it was open and close to nature. The talks came naturally then.
Also, While being in CCD, enjoying great food with my friends, i got a glimpse of a few, who were not eating anything at all. I saw them sitting and just talking most of the time. That moment i realized may be the place was bit expensive of the minimum of beverage and not everybody was ready to pay for small amount of food. I realized, I could have initiated an idea of gift culture, where people could have just offered each other somethings like these.
some great pictures from the meet....
It was definitely great, meeting so many people travelling from far places. Even delhi itself is so overcrowded that it's a tedious task to go from one place to another and yet, we had a great strength of people there who were full of energies and curiosity. I had a great time having great conversations too.
Since it was not a formal meet but rather a meet of meeting and sharing, but i still guess everybody had their feedback to shares, including te things you wish could be improved. I would like to provide a platform for the same. Share whatever you felt like, or any suggestion for further meetups, as that's how we can help make meetups more interesting. Like creating theme parties, some great music or dance with appreciation, for whatve you liked or felt grateful for.
Thank you @varunpinto for amazing pictures :))
Looking forward to reading more comments :P
