Exchange Rate in Community Project and Insight to Future Ones

Yeap, he is me!

Attention, attention! Dear Steemians, I'm going to tell you about a project today. Me, @steeminator3000, @vitruvianman and @kalvas organized this project with help @sndbox, which this is actually the first official project of @tach! So, what is the project? Well, basically we did experimental-guerrilla marketing for Y and Z generation. We want to create Steemit crowdfunded projects and help a lot of people in Turkey with using exchange rate between USD and TRY.

It's a process of course. As a first step we landed on the streets. At the busiest points of the cities we live in, we have put up posters with @sndbox. In doing so, we tried to preview the city's population. You can learn more about this process and the first phase of the project in @steeminator3000’s post. You can also learn the digital marketing part of the first phase from @vitruvianman's writing, which he's preparing for the third phase of this process. He made a video for this process and @kalvas wrote about his thoughts and situations about this process. Anyway, let's focusing the project and its phases! (I know, I need a phase counter)

What is our project hoping to achieve?

Like I sad, we want to create Steemit crowdfunded projects and help a lot of people in Turkey with using exchange rate. Firstly we must to introduce Steemit for our target group. People become members if they are aware of the platform. Turkey is a big market for Steemit. We aim to introduce Steemit to people, after then we will help them to learning the platform. So, our primary goal is collect new members and train them. I know, this is a process. So, we had to make some preparations for it. We prepared Turkish tutorial contents with @sndbox and shared in @tach. These contents were very helped many people. We continue to work together for more.

What will be our next step?

It's a really long and tiring way. That's why we work as a team. The second phase of this project will be reach our target group, universities. Because students have knowledge and experience to produce content. Each can produce content in their own department. I think the universities are the best place to find new members. So, we'll go to the universities from the streets!

USD-TRY exchange rate difference

As you see, Turkish Lira (TRY) is continuously depreciating against USD. The exchange rate difference can be advantageous to a student. For example, financing from Steemit, you can shoot a short movie and participate in festivals. Because the total cost divided by the exchange rate difference in dollars is equivalent to quite small numbers. Or it could create a resource for an assignment. I mean, if we extend Steemit to universities, we can help the students with their education and we can create Steemit crowd funded projects.

Steemit just doesn't have to be in the form of "blogging and making money". Projects, research, products may emerge. So, Steemit can evolve into the social network for crowdfunded projects between the universities! We can increase the number of people who know each other on this platform and produce common projects. This is what we want to do in Turkey, in universities.

We will start work in a pilot city first. After that we will work in metropolitan cities. At every university we go to, we want to establish a subordinate leader and a team connected to it. This will be a semi-autonomous system. In this respect, each leader will be able to organize Steemit events in their own university and city. Workshops -where new members are trained-, social events, joint projects etc.

Of course Rock & Roll!

We will produce more general education content. With @sndbox, I will produce more translation content and share in @tach. BTW @vitruvianman and I are starting our Steemian TV project on youtube. We will produce tutorial contents, talk shows, short movies, web series and other Steemit exclusive content for all Steemit members.

We want to give importance to tutorial contents. Because the biggest problem with local communities is that they can't train new members. We need to teach how they can rise on the platform, what the rules are and the philosophy of the platform. So, the third phase of our project is entirely on educational content and on Steemit-specific products in Steemian TV. You can find out more details about this project in the article of @vitruvianman.

So, that is the what we want and what we try it. I am curious about your thoughts and I would be happy if you share. As I said earlier, this is a team job. First project of @tach, organization of members from different cities. So, I thank @sndbox fammily, @steeminator3000, @vitruvianman and @kalvas for your efforts. And I thank everyone who has commented, read and voted on this article. See you again!
