Openness, one of the major characteristics of the team that surprised and made me so excited yesterday, August 5, 2017 in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
The Team Philippines grand meet and greet / Second Team Philippines Steemfest.
Thanks to @luvabi, @grazz, @jeanellybee and co., @sasha.shade from their huge efforts for this amazing event, and @teamphilippines for inviting me and so i grabbed the opportunity to learn more about ourselves and the platform.
The learning we got from the event mutually benefited all of us participants because it involved the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and ideas. Every one participated the discussion (and i appreciate all of the team members a lot for that) but these guys shared the most in that particular event:
@sasha.shade
@surpassinggoogle
@cloh76
@luvabi
@deveerei
@jeanelleybee
Few participants aren't in Steemit yet so they initially discussed some basics about the blockchain, then had further discussions and Q & A's. What's good here is that the people are very much helpful and just like the platform, it is decentralized. We did peer learning. Then we had some good food, had some drinks and afterwards the raffle prizes and rewards that's won by @craftech, @deveerei, and @monkeypattycakes courtesy of @luvabi & co., and @haleyaerith. And on the late night, we go Party Party!

We are active in our #teamphilippines section in PAL-Home for the Minnow Support Project Discord app chat or join our Facebook Group to know us more. We already have 371 team members as of this time of writing and i moderate their contents together with @sasha.shade, @deveerei, and @descterity.
The things that i learned from the event:
- When @sasha.shade talked on stage, he also explained about the curation trails as it encourages and dares some unfamiliar participants including me to put quality posts in respect to it.
- I never knew before that there's another company somewhere in Manila that supports the blockchain ecosystem and withdrawal transactions named Satoshi Citadel Industries.
- @surpassinggoogle is right. He said that being a Steemit user somehow pushes us to discover ourselves. I can't repeat his entire statement about it but i know that's his point and i realized to myself that i can do things a lot more than i expected to myself. Since i joined the Steemit platform last June 2017, i just got a lots of "i can't believe i'm doing this sh_t" thoughts to my mind. i'm not a writer nor a blogger anyway. He also taught people including me who's not familiar about blocktrades.
- @surpassinggoogle and @deveerei talked about @steemgigs, some briefs about it, and how can we be able to participate: "Everyone has something to offer".
- I never knew that i can get easily drunk to Fundador Brandy.
Cheers!
