To show you an example i tell you mine..

56 days ago i stumbled over Steemit by accident because i was researchin' about blockchain technology. As i wrote in my introduction i was just curious to try a real world application in the blockchain. I'm a type of person who prepares for something to get the best outcome. And so i started reading posts in Steemit how to use the platform. After the humble beginnings of publishing a handful of posts with exactly $0 i started also commenting the posts of others. And if you know me i write also often longer comments if the topic touches me. So i did in a for me fascinating video collection of Andreas Antonopoulos by @barrydutton. He rewarded my comment with a full VP upvote and i was surprised!

It's great to give!

I had not thought for a moment that someone would give me such reward for my comments. But that initated two things in me:

1. great thankfulness.. i just smiled like a honey cake 😁 and

2. commitment to do something similar for others

This experience changed my view on Steemit. From that moment on i saw this platform as a great opportunity for contribution. I can just encourage everyone to post quality content and to interact with each other and help people especially newcomers. Myself is always open minded to look at new Steemians, your posts, because i'm self relatively new but also feel it strenghtens the community to do curation work here.

I expect nothing for my work because i know all efforts payout sooner or later in life. If you want something then create some value for others. That's all!

Some things which can help you on Steemit

From what i know i can give you the following hints:

  • build a unique blog with original content to contribute value
  • be yourself and show your name and face to build trust
  • just start with a topic that touches you and go on, ideas come if you're going forward
  • always look into the work of others, commenting, upvoting, following
  • be honest and sometimes critical if you see something that can be improved, without griping just solution oriented
  • help others if you see a opportunity, with your knowledge, your voting power
  • don't flag people just on a whim, it can do great damage for the whole Steemit platform, use it just as last resort

In the end the only thing which counts is value. Always looking for providing value.

Everybody has something to tell

If you have a topic that touches others and you can write interesting posts that might be a great catalyst to your success here on Steemit. It needs just the attention of a handful of whales and you're faster in the higher ranks than you can imagine. As you can see i'm at 50 today and my goal is to reach 60 after a half year and 70 after a year. I know that's not easy because the levelup difficuilty raises with each reputation point but i'll never give up and providing you the best i can. I wish you

FREEDOM
