That's right, Steemit Co-founder Ned Scott @ned is coming to visit Japan along with Steemit Inc.'s Manager of Exchanges and Business Development, David Jeffreys @birdinc! This couldn't have come at a better time too! With the addition of the Japanese language to the Steemit UI and the market picking back up it should prove to be a massive boost to the Japanese Steemit community and Steemit as a whole. The Japanese market is still untapped with a huge potential user base.

For the past 2 weeks we(@steemit-jp team) have been quietly working behind the scenes helping David set up meetings with Japanese exchanges, Tech companies and plan a meetup in Tokyo.
この２週間、私たちは(@steemit-jp team) David 氏の訪日時スケジュール・・日本国内の仮想通貨交換所やTech企業とのミーティング、そして日本コミュニティとのミートアップ等をセットアップするために活動しています。
Ned & David will be arriving the evening of May 6th and departing the morning of May 9th after spending 5 days in Korea. I will let the Korean community speak to the details of their visit there, but that is going to be huge event as well.
お２人は５日間の韓国訪問の後、日本へは５月６日の午後に到着予定、９日の朝にお帰りになる予定です。 コミュニティが大きい韓国でも彼らの訪問は大きな盛り上がりをみせることとなるかと思います。
The meetup in Tokyo will happen on the evening of May 8th in Hatsudai, next to Shinjuku. We are still fine tuning the exact time, but it should be around 7pm.
東京ミートアップは５月８日（火）に開催いたします！✨ 場所は京王線初台駅が最寄の場所、時間はまだ決まっていませんが午後７時頃になるかと思っています。
