Hello Steemit!
Minnow support is a project initiated by @aggroed and is backed up by people like @canadian-coconut, @theprophet0, @ausbitbank, @teamsteem, @neoxian, @someguy123 and many other members and groups at the PAL discord server such as #teamaustralia, #teamgb, @centerlink and more. We are now almost at 2000 (1893 registered members) whales-in-training, with 250+ online at this moment, and this project was the trigger/inspiration for me to write up this post.
Emergence is the process of becoming visible after being concealed or the process of coming into existence or prominence.
Or in this particular example, Emergence is a phenomenon whereby larger entities arise through interactions among smaller or simpler entities such that the larger entities exhibit properties the smaller/simpler entities do not exhibit.
Aka real ability to enact change on a grand scale, exactly like the effect crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin, Etherium and Steem have had on the world.
By joining the team over at MSP you are becoming part of something Greater, a turning cog in a system designed to support and uplift your creative efforts, help guide you through the turbulent waters and into a calmer pond where you can grow and come into your own as a valuable Steem-It creator/curator.
When I first joined here I was a little overwhelmed, unsure of what to do, where to go, what is this Delegation/Resteem/Upvote stuff and how does it effect me. I had motivation but no lubrication, it was a bit off putting to say the least.
With a few discussions on discord and some patience from the other members I can say that my understanding of this platform has increased to the point where I feel much more capable and confident utilizing it, and I can see now how this can benefit All of US.
By working as a team you can achieve so much more, it is literally a force multiplier, a tool that you can use to leverage your own power alongside many other like-minded individuals.
The minnow becomes the whale.
Emergence.
