I was supposed to meet with some newbies on steemit so that I'll teach them the core values of steemit and what steemit is all about. The metting was supposed to last for just 2 hours and they got me waiting for over 30 minutes.

After waiting for some minutes, I sent them a message via our whatapp group to let them know that I was waiting. few minutes after making the post, @ifioklee john ifiok walked in alone.
@ifioklee (John ifiok) is a final year student in the university of uyo,Nigeria. He is currently studying Chemical Engineering and loves footbal.
@ifioklee speaks english, ibiobio and Nigerian pidgin English . (my naija guys shey una understand abi?, ).
Mr john has been seeing my post about steemit on facebook so he decided to meet with me so I coud explain to him what steemit is all about.

Meeting newbies one on one is kinda important because most of them have questions and sometimes they don't know who to ask.
At the end of the meet-up, @ifiokLee decided to join *steemit uyo team and he'll join us in our STEEMIT UYO MEET-UP / REACHOUT ~ special reachout to university students where we'll be reaching out to students on the 1st of November 2017. This special reachout is sponsored and supported by @bluewaves.
Very soon, we'll be having a hub / steemit school where people will come to know about steemit and use steemit with our free wifi. This project will be supported by @stach headed by @ejemai
After each day, some newbies from our everyday reachout gets mentored in our special mentoring program headed by @ogochukwu
The mentoring classes holds 3 times a week and has so far mentored over 50 people.
