Steemit Soundboard – How Much Time Are You Putting In?

There have been a handful of posts over the past couple months with people announcing their full-time dedication to steemit. In the end I wish those people the best of luck. However, must of us have jobs and plethora of other responsibilities going on while we participate on steemit.

I’d really just like to take the opportunity to let people share their story, situation, effort, etc.

The bottomline is whether our posts get upvoted or not – we all get tired, lack motivation or just feel burned out from time to time.

Me personally – the goal is to post an original piece of content on steemit daily.

Over two months this goal has been met with the exception of a day or two when traveling.

Additionally - I read, upvote and comment on posts daily as well.

This all obviously takes time.

Something that is a commodity. Especially for those with spouses and children (I don’t know how you do it, kudos to you.)

I work a full time job and am also an active real estate investor (though not as active since finding steemit!)

With that said – would say I average roughly 20 hours a week working on steemit. So basically, picked up a part time job? ;-)

I know some others are doing way more, especially those doing development type work. Shout out to @jester, @bitcoiner, @blueorgy and the dozens others I forget cause my brain is steemit fried..hahaha

So Why Do We Do It?

Everyone has there reasons, but I do it because I believe in the potential growth of this platform.

Because I enjoy exchanging information and knowledge with people. Especially, adding value to people’s lives. I love if/when I help people make wiser financial decisions.

And let’s be real too – this is also an investment . I have fiat $ in steemit along with a ton of sweat equity so of course I'm motivated to help this community grow by contributing and interacting.

What’s Your Deal?

I want to hear from everyone what type of hours they put in and why they do it. Let’s take this moment to express it, vent it, share it. Whatever it is you need to get you recharged!

STEEM ON!

Mitchell J
