STEEM Is Shooting To The Moon! || An Analysis Of My Account

I'm uploading a Weekly Steemit Progress Report video presently to YouTube. It takes a long time to do that, especially if you have a not-so-good Internet connection like I do. But in the process of gathering the analytics for that post, something strange happened...

The value of my account increased by $80!

Woah!

I learned -- thanks to @gregm -- that this is actually not the case: in fact, according to http://coinmarketcap.com, my account is worth much, much more.

So, here are some charts and numbers!

The price of STEEM as of the time of this writing is $0.79, an increase of 68%

Here is a chart of the past 7 days:

Overall, the lifetime STEEM chart is looking a lot like the Bitcoin chart in mid 2015. If that's an accurate assessment, then we are in for some super extincting times.

But what about your account, @shayne???

Ok ok, I did put some numbers into the calculator doohickeys.

My account holds *1896 Steem Power, which calculates to a value of this:

Yes, that's 1512.37, when earlier today it was $696.28.

Wow....

Then, using the SteemViz Pending Payout Calculator tool by @ausbitbank, I calculated my pending payouts for the last 7 days.

420 yo!

But seriously... since SBDs are trading at well above $1, here's what that means in USD terms.

That's $681 for 7 days of posting on a social media site for a few hours every day.

If I could average this for a week (which, believe me, I'd love to do but understand is highly unlikely), my monthly salary from STEEMIT alone would calculate to

$2,724 per month

I'm not going to sugar coat it: that would be the single best income stream I've ever had.

@craig-grant, who just went all-in to STEEM, is probably pretty happy right now.

I know I am.
