STEEMIT Is A Ponzi Scheme - Refuted! (continued...)

This post is a continuation of my post, STEEMIT Is A Ponzi Scheme - Refuted!

User James Bond decided to call me out on @bitcoinmeister YouTube channel in a manner resembling how people organize a drug or alcohol intervention: "I'm really worried about him... he's into this Steemit thing!"

I figured: rather than having this back-and-forth be completely fruitless, I should post it on Steemit so the community can fortify themselves against the typical arguments lobbed against this platform, and perhaps discuss best practices concerning discussions about Steemit elsewhere online.

Here is the convo, which can be seen in the comments section for this video:

I really do think this is a case of cognitive dissonance. The arguments that James uses to define Steemit as a Ponzi scheme would apply to Bitcoin equally, but Bitcoin is something that he likes, so OF COURSE Bitcoin isn't a Ponzi... but Steemit is... but Bitcoin isn't... but Steemit is... but... but... but... [cognitive dissonance feedback loop]

Thoughts?
