Today is my one-year Steemit Anniversary!
On this day 1 year ago, 25th July 2016, I posted my introduceyourself on Steemit.
I can't believe how time has flown by and how Steemit has changed.
I'm glad I discovered Steemit and its awesome community - definitely the most supportive community among all social media platforms!
During my one year on Steemit, I have created 446 posts (more than 1 a day!), 5036 comments, and upvoted other people's content 12607 times.
That's incredible! Blogging on Steemit has become a routine and I still enjoy it as much as when I wrote my first introduceyourself post.
I have reached reputation level 74.8 (Top 12 Author on Steemit), and almost 3600 followers.
Who remembers what Steemit was like 1 year ago?
There was no reputation, no profile pictures or bio, , and the editor and reward system have changed completely.
It's amazing to see how much the Steemit platform and its community have grown in this one year.
I'm glad that I was a part of it since the early stages and witnessed everything first-hand.
Now, I am looking forward to my 2nd year on Steemit and I'm sure we will see even more amazing changes!
Of course, there is no better way for me to celebrate than by DANCING!
Today I want to share a special freestyle video that I've purposely not published until now.
This video was shot in Barcelona, on top of the Tibidabo mountain with a breathtaking view over the valleys and over the city!
Take a look at the celebration freestyle video here:
Song: "Pink Lemonade" by Katuchat
We shot this video just after the sun had set behind the mountains.
As you can see the sky was still colorful and the light was gloomy as it just started to get dark.
Although there were quite a lot of other tourists around the panorama platform, enjoying the weather and the gorgeous views, I didn't care: I just had to dance!
As you can tell, I suddenly became the center of attention and all the tourists were watching as I danced and @soldier was recording me - but that didn't matter to me.
Freestyling to an awesome song is already fun, but doing so in amazing weather, in a great location with a gorgeous view in spain - what could be better?
I'd like to thank all of my followers, and in general all of the readers of my blog.
What I love about Steemit is that you can share anything you like - on my blog, I like to post a mixture of different topics.
There are no rules - I just like to post about whatever comes to my mind and share some interesting stories with my audience.
Blogging continuously for one year has been an amazing journey and I'm looking forward to the future of Steemit!
And let's not forget about the awesome Steemians from all over the world that I've connected with - whether online or in real life!
I went to different Steemit Meetups and actually organized one myself, I shot a promotional video for steemit and connected with so many on you through steemit.chat.
The community on steemit is truly unique, everyone has a different story to share and connecting with other Steemians is always exciting.
Thank you for making my first year on Steemit an amazing one. Year number 2 begins now!
