About motivation, books and your TV ...
Hello, dear friends! We continue to consider two important topics for Steemit authors and all readers. Let me remind you that the subject of our conversation, Steve Chandler's book, "100 Ways to self-motivation." Fortunately it is especially important for the authors of this site, as many are in need of additional incentives. So I decided to combine these two themes - make out the problem and propose options for its decision, which took away from the book.
Yesterday I flashed a few hours to explore more deeply the concept of Steemit. And today I want to say the following. Writing makes sense in any case. Even if you're not getting the number of votes, views and the money you want.
I will try to explain why. The fact that today is only the beginning. In the days of the start of any project, there are features and nuances that prevent us from seeing the real potential. Let's think logically.
If you are confident in your work - create!
If you are sure that you make a quality product, you tend to compare. Compare your creation with the fact that the site is gaining strong performance. Sometimes you think it's unfair. Maybe it is so. Sometimes you think that someone that work is overrated, and your contrary ignored. Maybe it is so. But what will happen in the long term?
Every day developed any options screen out the bad content and promote good. I saw myself as a struggle with wrong tags and plagiarism. I think that the next step - an increase of objectivity. Surely there is a way to qualitative assessment of works / time / useful / interesting stuff. And then what happens?
If you are confident in the quality of your work, but gave up writing now, you are depriving yourself a chance. Deprive you of the chance to be seen in the future. Deprives another opportunity to study your material, learn something new, useful and interesting. If you have something to show - show it. Do not waste your time on resentment, anger and tears. Write a new text that will be interesting. Reflect your thoughts in the lines.
Work, create, and it will be rewarded!
Steemit is just beginning his life. Help him to get better, and it will help you. I believe that this approach will give you the desired result. And in any case,** it is better to do than not do. Do you agree?**
And now 3 new method of self-motivation by Steve Chandler:
1. Live here and now. Most people often regret the past and dreaming about the future. Many people don’t take seriously now. Optimists say that life will be better tomorrow. Pessimists say that the best is behind us. But let's be realistic! Let's make today so that he has brought us joy and pleasure. Let us understand it, feel and recognize.
When I came here, I had to regret the past. And the time to believe in the future. At first I regretted not having learned about Steemit from the outset. Then I dreamed of the high profits and disappointed. Now I believe in the reality of and involvement in something great. I'm just doing what I can. To tell, that I like. And I hope that it is interesting and useful to others.
2. Break up your TV. So wrote author. I am against anything to spoil. Just turn it off. Turn off because it takes away from your time. Lifetime. Do you know why you sometimes do not want to do anything? Because you're tired. And then you turn on the TV or watch videos on YouTube. But try to do otherwise. You're tired? Lie on the bed 5 minutes. Sit quietly for 5 minutes. If you do not fall asleep, you'll want to do something. Anything.
And then sit down at the computer and write. Or do something useful. Because you will have the energy. And you will have a choice - give it to your TV or to use for creative work. I choose the second option.
3. Look for opportunities. The possibility is always there. We dono
‘t always see it. We don’t see, either because we do not want or are not ready yet. But let's think about what is really possible? This potential. This potential, which we can use.
Pencil and paper are dead. But they are fraught with possibility. You can implement the ability - to write a letter or draw a picture. This can benefit you or to please other people.
Authors Steemit, your keyboard, and the site - this is your opportunity. They lie in front of you. You just need to decide to use them all. Read on to the end of this post and write your own. At least a couple of lines. If only a draft. Who knows, maybe it will come out of a great story.
Never give up! I love that phrase, and recommend that you love her too.
Select any version of self-motivation. Try it in your life. You can!
Appreciate the time, enjoy life and be happy!
With best wishes, Soulbrain.
