On August 4th, Jeff Berwick, founder of the Dollar Vigilante recently joined the STEEMIT.COM community as user @dollarvigilante. He has quickly amassed a following here on Steemit.com with well over 1k Steemit users hitting the follow button as well as made quite a few STEEM DOLLARS AND STEEM POWER.
Although there have been quite a few well known people that have recently joined STEEMIT.COM as well, including the ever beautiful Mexican Playboy Model @brendazambrano with well over 1 Million Instagram followers, Jeff Berwick will most likely have the biggest impact on STEEMIT and on growing the STEEMIT user base.
On August 3rd 2016 around 3am, STEEMIT.COM had about 44.8K user accounts. The next day STEEMIT.COM had about 45.5K user accounts. It was on this day that Jeff Berwick, @dollarvigilante, joined STEEMIT. Approximately 750 new users within the 24hrs. prior to Jeff announcing his presence on STEEMIT. 2 days later, on Aug 6 2016, there were now 47,863 users. So in 2 days, about 2300 new accounts were created, or about 1150 new accounts per day. This was an increase of 50% in the daily subscribers rate for the 2 days after Jeff and other joined STEEMIT.
From August 6 to August 7, there were an additional 1580 added user accounts. This was an additional increase in the subscriber rate from the day before by about another 37% . On August 8, about 24 hours later there were now a total of about 51.5K users. That breaks down to about 2,080 new STEEM members in 24 hours, or an increase of about 32% from the previous 24hrs.

On this day, 24 hours after the August 8 numbers, STEEMIT stood at about 53, 252 users. So if we break it down for a 24hr period from Aug. 8 - Aug 9, that is about 1,750 new STEEMIT users joining. That is down 16% from the day before. So as you can see, Jeff and company gave STEEMIT.COM a nice boost in user accounts. At this rate, we should be rounding 75,000 user accounts at the end of August, or maybe sooner.
