Let's tackle this coins.ph-steem series using explanatory bits. Every time you think of how flawless this symbiotic relationship can be, it becomes all the more flawless!

The series began here and will continue until an eventual proposal steemit post is made, possibly guided by steemit INC, that we will be submitted to coins.ph.

Ultimately, when it comes to blockchain, a coins.ph-steem relationship involve more technicalities. In a short conversation with Ned Scott, he subtly pinpointed this out, thus, the coins-ph-steem series will be well researched, duly-paced and made explanatory to every layman, so that the eventual proposal steemit post is as broad and elaborate as can be.

Yes, i am out to bring coins.ph on steemit, with hopes of an ever-lasting coins.ph-steem relationship, which i believe is a direct step in bringing steem and its beauty, before the masses of the Filipinos and ultimately Asia.

Coins.ph already holds just the right audience for steemit as it hosts businesses as well as huge population of gamers, freelancers etc. Steem on the other hand, holds a ready-made audience for coins.ph and a ton of coins.ph users.

Assuming SBD stays pegged at 1 US dollar, then this relationship can become all perfect.

Earlier today, i was thinking of ways to build a venture around steem, that involves remittance of steem as fiat, without the need for bitcoin. "www.coins.ph was the case study!"

What happens, when you send out steem/SBD to www.coins.ph?

Especially, when bitcoin is so volatile, you can lose a huge sum of steem/SBD during the process!

The last time i sent some SBD to coins.ph using @blocktrades, i did lose alot. Let's forget the fees from @blocktrades; just the number of hours that elapsed before my bitcoin arrived and bitcoin had a tremendous low, causing me to lose up to 1/4 of my total expected fiat.

Bottomline is, bitcoin transaction are heftily slow these days and coins.ph users stand a huge chance of losing money within bitcoin transactions. Steemit users who use coins.ph, also know of the losses incurable and this is an ultimate deterrent to coins.ph's business as they administer a bitcoin wallet, in their all-endowed remittance app.

But let's put speed aside and today, we will talk of fees! "We all know that bitcoin transactions are prone to having enormous fees".

What if fees were removed entirely?

This becomes instant win-win for everyone!

Fees have gradually become an issue, especially with bitcoin and coins.ph is no stranger to the setback-effect of this, on their business!

To make the use of bitcoin seamless for their users in the past, they basically made bitcoin transactions fee-free. This didn't not mean that bitcoin had no fees. It simply meant that to make their users happy, they shoulder those fees.

Ultimately, a regular coins.ph user simply wants to complete his transaction in record time and move on to the next agenda, without much cognizance of how the bitcoin blockchain works.

It is a known fact there is huge demand for bitcoin world-wide.  Basically, when a coins.ph user attempts to send Bitcoin (BTC) to another wallet, the transaction passes a bitcoin blockchain. However, when a transaction is created on the bitcoin blockchain, a fee usually has to be paid, to have that transaction processed by the Bitcoin miners.

These fees are paid to the miners as an incentive to add the transaction to the next new block, in a process called mining.

With rise in bitcoin price however, demand for bitcoin thus, the volume of bitcoin transactions, have kept increasing drastically, creating a huge competition, in terms of, "which transactions should be process next" and this is where fees play a huge role.

With bigger fees, your transaction gets processed faster.

More recently, coins.ph had a need to bring back transaction fees as this became a necessity in ensuring that bitcoin transactions go through for its users.

Simply put, the increased demand for bitcoin showed no signs of abating and for business to keep running, coins.ph had to stop shouldering the bitcoin transaction processing fees; which is now shouldered by its users. See how they explain that development to their users in a recent blog from them; June 06,2016

Steem blockchain removes transactions fees from the equation all together, by having zero transaction fees and instantly puts coins.ph where they have always wanted to be in terms of top-notch fee-less quality service-level for their users.

Add a "3 second block time" and the number of transactions that the steem blockchain can process in every minute and we are talking high-tech business for coins.ph, in terms of influx of new users and myriads of satisfied users/businesses. Plus, a ton of steemit coins.ph users & potential users, from Asia/Philippines on a platter.

In coming posts, we will tackle "how steem transaction blocktimes is great news for coins.ph and how they can instantly cut down on some of their expensive referral & Ad model, by investing in steempower!

Coins.ph has top-notch marketing in the form of expensive Ads and a referral model, where they pay out 50 Philippines pesos, for every signed-up and verified referral. Well, they also pay out the same amount to the referrer!

Long way to go, but i am positive that, a steem-coins.ph relationship will happen very soon!

Please me comment suggestions!

Bitcoin is legalized and regulated in the Philippines and accepted as a mode of exchange by especially, remittance centres and banks; i wonder if this regulation aspect will pose any barrier of entry for coins.ph to fully integrate with steem.

What are your thoughts?
