"Let's Make #philippines One Of The Most Visited Tags On Steemit". (Note): You Will Need Exertion & Self-Sacrifice To Read This Post.

Calling all Philippines-based authors who create content under #philippines and other Philippines-based tags to join in here. This is a short post imploring you to join us in creating researched great content on every niche topic, here on steemit!

Note:

This message is also applicable to every newbie, finding his feet!

Basically, we want to try to instill a culture that actually involves "mining with minds", especially with newer steemians who are still finding their feet. This benefits everyone but benefits YOU the most!

How Does It Benefit You?

Well, by incessantly "mining with your mind", you create a better version of YOU. A better version of YOU, helps you tap into the heights of your potential, your true worth & purpose and from there on; you become extraordinary, a household name; "the sky, your limit!"

Why Mine Your Mind?

According to me, the mind is spanless; so it does need mining! Searching it out, unfolding it, in-and-out-ing it, defining and re-defining it and this takes conscious exerted effort. Your mind needs a flexing!

Steemit is designed to keep us in a loop of "mining with minds" as it provides us with a reputable community of great minds and allows us to mine our stake in steem (steem power), by creating valuable content, among other things. This instantly puts everyone at a level-playing field because regardless of educational achievements, status, language, etc you can create valuable content.

Yes, steemit isn't telling us to write codes or to combine two ions! It is simple telling us to create valuable content!

Also, if you never went to school; steemit is offering you school, for free!

So it is never about whether you can do it or not; it has always been a question of whether your are ready to exert yourself or not.

"Learn, then share" and if you have already learned; share what you have learned, so that you can have some space in your mind to learn more, so as to share again!

Now, even if you aren't very ready to exert yourself on behalf of others; be ready to exert yourself on behalf of yourself as this still does the world good.

Yes, here is one of my quotes: "The best version of YOU is a gift to humanity".

Steemit In The Past

When i started on steemit, a tag was made popular called #til (Today I Learned). It was done, to help steemit generate top-notch content. It was done to stir more people into "mining with minds", by learning new things daily and writing about what they have learned.

This involved doing in-depth research on various intriguing & fresh topics and creating content on these topics. in order to turn steemit into hub for the best information on the entire Web.

During this time, i also create Steem Lab and Steem Dump!

Infact, #til was made popular and supported by curators and steem power, to disrupt reddit.com and make steemit the new face of the INTERNET.

Too, it was done to attract reddit-like users or information-enthusiasts to steemit!

Reddit does have minimal interface design and is very much forum-like, yet it generates maximum traffic, even though people don't get to earn because as much as we keep thinking that people are all out to earn online, it is obvious that many people sought after information too, as Learning is the ultimate Earning.

According to me, steemit is very much: "Get rewarded for having a voice"; "Get rewarded for re-shaping boring internet"; "Get rewarded to inflict internet positively with a piece of awesome YOU"

With the combined power of great reputable steemian minds, steemit can easily generate enough information to find cure for cancer, cure for AIDS etc

So why can't you exert youself?

People did sleepless nights to even create steem and steemit. People do sleepless nights all around the world daily, to find lasting solutions against malaria and i tell you; "many of these people, have hardly come across mosquitoes. So, who are they exerting themselves for? Isn't it for YOU & me?"

Steemit Now & #philippines

I do want #philippines to standout when it comes to content.

Why look for attention? Why not attract attention?

We want #philippines to become among the most visited tags on steemit, because steemians all around steemit become aware, that is also a hub to some of the best information on entire steemit.

But this needs exertion, even self-sacrifice....

When you think of the word "mining", you can as well think "digging, depths, exertion" etc This doesn't necessarily mean strain but it does mean effort. And this effort can easily be fun, because it involves personal growth among other things; like ultimate EARNING e.g. vision-building, innovation, entrepreneurship, solid connections, human capital, enterprise etc

It is just like time spent in the gym; it can be very strenuous yet fun, because it is rewarding. A syringe pains but you will let your kid have it in, because it rewards. "Yoga can be painful too". "Hid treasure needs a digging!" "Precious stone needs refining!"

We want to improve content as seen on #philippines and other Philippines-related tags. This is optional but i do encourage it because overall it is fun and rewarding too, even in terms of getting upvotes!

Look at it this way, "if you have poor content and it earns 100$, you will be happy but people will talk; will ask questions and i am sure you want to avert that".

#philippines for instance; yes it is possible for curators to vote on every post they see, but note that, the reputation of a curator is also at stake, if they simply vote on every post.
In my case, i look at other factors beyond just content during curation, but that can't be the case with every curator!

The Deal

If you are a Philippines-based steemian, writing under #philippines and other Philippines-related tag, i invite you to pick any popular niche as seen on the right side of your feed and create researched content on any of the topics there, that you like. Your content should be research and you can get resources from the internet but paraphrase well, give references to additional sources as appropriate and shine as you fill steemit with fresh information.

Basically, don't let today emptily slip by without learning something and sharing. Well, even if you don't share, learn! This still constitute growth even on steemit as you will be able to interact better in conversations, understand steemit better and curate better, which all add value to the steem ecosystem.

Remember, even when you don't create content, curation also rewards!

E.g.

  • If the topic you chose is "business", you can write on "10 businesses you never knew exist"
  • If the topic you chose is "steem", you can write on "10 steem-friendly countries in the world".
  • If the topic you chose is "food", you can write on "How to cope with starvation in times of famine".
  • etc

Hahaha, aren't these topics above attractive? I am sure, you will at least click on them and likely vote on them too!

What Exactly Is Easy?

"Nothing!"

Simply write researched content on any niche-topic and submit me the URL to me in a comment here, over the course of the next 7 days and i will look to support those posts with upvotes.

Don't despair because you can do it!

All the resources are on the internet! Just do research; have fun by choosing a topic that you have always wanted to learn about; then learn and share what you have learned with us, in a steemit post.

Please remember to leave reference to source URLs for your eventual steemit post!

Note: You can also submit to me posts that aren't research but developed from your experience but be sure that your post teaches something new; something fresh; something that sparks interest; something that is powerful etc.

e.g look at this post by @stellabelle

Simple examples of researched posts:
