I’ve invited my 708 Facebook friends to join Steemit (updated I invited 0 friends thanks to Facebook)

This is by far the best Steemit campaign anyone can do but wait, there’s a lot more to this story.

Now I'm a bit f*** cause Facebook won't let me invite any friends to the event! That's how stupid facebook is! I don't know what to do at all. Don't upvote yet I guess!

This thing is averted thanks to Facebook!

At this moment there is 37 dollars to this post. I will donate it to the community somehow, if any money is added I plan to keep it. I'll take it as people upvoting it because they love the effort I putted in this post, as well as the clarification as to how Facebook can be limiting to its users sometimes.

I'll most probably create another event when Facebook unblock me from inviting my friend but I won't do the same as mentioned in this post. Facebook prevents these kind of things.

I'm leaving this up so people don't spend countless hours working on this kind of campaign like I did. Thank you!

Further clarification:

I had just created the event. I didn't invited the friends yet so the people who were invited wouldn't see nothing in the description of the event.

I wanted to linked them here so they aren't invited to an event where there isn't any info at first, so I posted here then hop right back to Facebook, use the chrome addon which select all the friends automatically and them press invite but then Facebook said I was to fast to invite the people.

They must use something to detect this kind of automatic invite addon so it doesn't become a spam fest were everyone is invited to something ad infinitum.

Like I said I'll do another event when I'm unblock to invite my friends but won't make the same thing as I tried doing here cause it won't work.

I gave my best with this post, like I always do. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I’ve just created a Facebook event, inviting all of my Facebook friends. It took me less than 2 minutes to create.

Everyone should create such a Facebook event!

This is the best, cheapest and most efficacious campaign I and most of us could ever do for Steemit, but also the best campaign anyone can do to help themselves succeed on Steemit. Another big plus is the fact that we want to bring people from other social networks, like Facebook in particular, to Steemit and this is exactly what this event is about.

This is the best campaign we can do for Steemit, yet I'm not sure I've seen it mentioned anywhere.

Let’s go big!

I’ve created such a Facebook event a couple of days ago, where I've invited only 50 friends to test the water a bit, but now it’s time to let as much people know about Steemit as possible. It’s time we go big! I always want to share, what Steemit is and what it can do. I know most of us here are in the same situation.

There is probably no better way for most of us to let the people we know, learn about Steemit and benefit from it.

It’s the right time to tell most people we know about Steemit!

The more smart, loving, invested people you know, who are on Steemit, the better it is for you, as well as Steemit as a whole and I can't wait to see all of my Facebook's friends talk about Steemit. I can't wait to see the buzz this post and Facebook event is going to generate.

Now let’s show the world what Steemit can do!

I'll give 50% of the Steem Dollar reward from the post you’re reading. This reward will be divide among the people who will invite their friends to this Facebook event.

That's it, I’ve up the ante a bit, and that’s because I want to show everyone, what Steemit can do and because I'm always trying new ways to make Steemit and the world a better place.

This is going to take Steemit to hundreds, thousands and most probably tens of thousands of people, not only they will learn about Steemit but they will see first hand what it can do.

Also I would love to mention, I have a very wide range of Facebook friends, a lot of whom, I don't know personally beside on Facebook and these persons have the advantage of not having much friend in common with me thus advantaging them to get the rewards I'll be giving. Read on!

This is how it's going to work!

50% of the Steem Dollar reward from the post you’re reading will be divide in 1 to 10 equal rewards. For every 450 people someone add to the Facebook event they will get a proportional % of the rewards I will be giving!

There might be a 500 people event limit invite, so that's why I chose 450 people instead of 500. If there is an invite limit, this also greatly advantage my Facebook friends I know less, because we have less friends in common and it will be easier for them to add 450 friends, that aren't already added to the event. Only the first payout, for this post, will be taken into account for the rewards I’ll be giving.

Let’s take my last post for example. 50% of the Steem Dollar reward amounted to a bit more than 1700$ Steem Dollars which was worth around 1445$ USD. The total worth of my last post was around 7000$ USD.

If someone invite 4000 people to the event and it added 3500 people to the event, that would give him 7 out of the 10 rewards, thus giving that person 70% of the 1700$ Steem Dollar for this example.

I hope these rewards I'm promising will go fast, with the possible rewards at play, I think they will.

Today's trending posts are making between 4,5k and a lot of 1k, so the 10 rewards, I'm offering, will most probably be worth between 18$ to 90$ for every 450 people invited. Who knows, maybe more! The best paid post was worth 44k!

Help me let my friends understand the power of Steemit!

In the case that only 1 person would add more than 450 people, that person will get the whole reward and so on if more than 1 person add 450 people to the event they divide the reward between themselves, proportionally to how many 450 people they've added. If nobody adds 450 people to the event I will donate the money to a charity or cause of my choosing and will provide proof of this.

The exact formula is, 50% of the Steem Dollar reward divide by the number of 450 people added multiply by the number of 450 people someone added. For the example above it would be:

1700/10 or
1700/9 or
1700/8
and so on… multiply by 1, 2, 3… and so on to a maximum of 10

First in, first serve!

People will have to coordinate with me before inviting their friends so I can verify their claim of how many people they've added. I won’t add any friends to my Facebook account during this campaign. I didn't add any friends since I thought about that campaign 2 days ago.

Like I've said, I hope these rewards I'm offering will go fast!

This reward offer will be available for only the first 12 hours after this Steemit post was made or before the 10 times 450 people have been added. They will be no extension. I’ll be in front of my computer the whole 12 hours. Again, people need to contact me through Facebook to synchronize with me so I can verify how many people they are adding to the event. Don’t invite people before I give you the okay. They won't count. I will take the request in order I receive them. First in, first serve as I already said.

People will have 5 minutes from the moment I acknowledge that they should invite their friend to the event. People should probably have the addon menitoned below installed before requesting me. There will be only 1 chance (5 minutes) for everyone from the moment I gave them the okay. You have to be there when I give you the okay. You have 1 minute to answer to that okay if you dont't answer and there is someone waiting, then you lose your spot and the only chance you had. If someone else add their friends during the time someone I've told could add their friends, these newly added people will be count as if the person who I've currently giving the okay, added them.

None of my friends have been notify of this campaign before I posted this Facebook event, 5 minutes ago. I had created a Facebook event prior to this one, inviting only 49 friends in which I invited them to joined Steemit and talked a bit about what Steemit is. I mentioned in that event that I would create another event in the future inviting all of my friends but never did I mentioned I would offer any reward for inviting their friends.

This should be reflected by who will get the rewards as I would be surprise if there would be many from my family or close friends. I have a couple of Steemians on my friends list and they will most probably be the first to recognize this offer as an irresistible one. The friends of mine to whom I’ve already talked about Steemit might also be advantaged in a sense but they are few and also I need to mentioned, to my knowledge none of my friend have joined Steemit yet.

I won't contact any of my friends to persuade them to invite their friends. It will be up to each of them to make the choice to contact me.

I will probably post constant update on the estimate worth of the prize and how many of the 10 prizes for each 450 people have been distributed. I will also post the Facebook name of the winners of the prizes and how many out of the 10 prizes they won. The Facebook event is link below and the Steemit post is link in the Facebook event.

Collect your rewards

To receive their prize people will have to join Steemit, prove to me they have created their Steemit account and then I will send the Steem Dollar to their Steemit account. People will have to create their accounts and request their reward before 30 days following the first payout of the post.

What to do with your rewards

I’ve provided a list of website so people can exchange their Steem Dollar to Steem or Bitcoin and from bitcoin to any fiat currency if anyone wish to do so. Everyone should seriously consider keeping their Steem Dollar or convert them to Steem Power as the price of Steem have gone up more than 1000% in the last month. Steem is less than 4 months old.

In its debut Bitcoin was worth 0.50$ (January 30, 2011) and as gone to worth more than $650 today or 120,000%, in less than 6 years. This isn’t part of a financial advice, it’s just some facts I love to point out. Everyone should make their own decisions.

More details about the rewards

I've given a lot of details on how to get the rewards as there will potentially be big rewards at play. I want the rules to be clear as possible. I will be fair. People have to trust me. I will be giving update in the Facebook event as soon as I will be receiving request from people!

Also I almost never open my Facebook live to see who's online and I won't do it before posting this event or during the event so I won't know who's online or not, yet I will be there waiting for the requests.

I use this chrome addon shown below to invite all my Facebook friends to the event. Don't forget to select all friends in the left rectangle before clicking the addon button.
