Week 1 of the MPFC was a great success. We had several entrants and some really great feedback. Lot's of positive vibes and constructive criticisms. This week we're giving away 40 Whaleshares and 50 Voiceshares!
And the winners are:
First place:
@verbal-d for his comment on @ehzi-dehve's track! He'll be taking down 20 Whaleshares and 10 Voiceshares for this comment. Nicely done my friend. Check out the comment below!
Just gave this a listen and man oh man, you sure immersed me in a complex world of sounds. Deep frequencies mixed with high ringing sounds, both lull the soul to a depth of self reflection and trigger the awareness of existence in the mind. The bells were a bit sharp ended, not so painful, but almost scared my ears with the headphones but they were still a nice addition, just a bit loud. Other than that I loved the entire composition. The beat was alive, it transformed and transitioned to a plethora of emotions that evoked both loneliness and longing. But overall, a really nice entry that I feel will place high. But it is all up to the judges. Best of skill to you bro, thanks for sharing.
The track:
Unfortunately @ehzi-dehve did not add feedback to the comments this week, and will be ineligible to receive the 5 Whaleshare and 5 Voiceshare prize. So these prizes will be given to the runners up.

Second place:
@seveaux for his amazing comment on @sidibeat's track. He'll be taking down 10 Whaleshares and 10 Voiceshares for this one. Well done. Check out the comment below!
really like the style of your beat! very relaxing! maybe use a little more fx on the background and make it stereo a little. Also panning and stereo the higher tones, and mono the lower tones makes it easier for the compressor to not whipe out volume so you have a more cleaner mxi at the end. That's my tip :) hope it helps a bit. ohh and maybe a little more mid freq on the guitar with a slight reverb would make it sound phatter and more stereo too!
The track:
Unfortunately @sidibeat also did not add feedback to the comments this week, and will be ineligible to receive the 5 Whaleshare and 5 Voiceshare prize. So these prizes will be given to the runners up.

Runners Up:
We had some excellent runners up this week. Huge thanks to all the participants.
@antminer his comment on @sidibeat's track. He'll take down 5 Whaleshares and 15 Voiceshares for this one! Check out the comment below.
I would not change a thing in this beat. Everything is in the place where it supposed to be. I love the mood of track and when I listen to it, I go back in time when I was on Seasplash festival (really cool Dub festival on beachside). This is the beachside where this festival happened:
Brings back great memories ;) Keep up the good work! Peace
@alvorek for his comment on @antiminer's track. He'll also be taking home 5 Whaleshares and 15 Voiceshares. Check out his comment below!
Hey this is really cool, I wish I had skillz like yours. I like how it sounds like an ant, I can imagine ants dancing to this. I also like it's in G minor, did you know that g minor is purple with a taste of red? That makes it dope. Too bad you didn't choose e flat minor though, that color is orange.
That's it for the winners announcement. Keep scrolling for info on week 2!
