Every week, I try to do one thing to help local organizations, charities and people in need. This week I am taking some food to the local Food Bank and I wanted to see if this awesome Steemit community will help.
I'm a small business owner and not a wealthy guy, but I try to help. I am going to try something new with you all and see if it works.
I plan on taking $30 of canned goods and other items to the food bank next week. Instead of just taking what I can afford, can you help?

If for some reason this goes viral on Steemit, which would be awesome, I'll figure out a larger amount to take.

HOW WILL YOU KNOW I AM NOT JUST SKIPPING TOWN WITH MY STEEM CASH AND PARTYING?
I will record a video of me dropping off all the food items at the FOOD BANK next Tuesday (June 27th) and post it on Steemit.
If this goes well, I would like to do it more often. I do something like this each week, and try to involve my kids too so they can grow up knowing that they need to help people in this world. I think it would be really cool to allow the Steemit community to get involved and by clicking a button helping me make a larger impact in people's lives.
