STEEMIT TO AFRICA, AFRICA TO THE WORLD
Recently I had a chat with @ackza, we discussed bringing steemit to Africa, but before then, I and @tj4real had decided to take a big leg in improving the level of awareness on Blockchain and cryptocurrency around Africa.
So I started by introducing steemit to my colleagues at work, 20 people were invited but 15 people showed up. Few of them have ideas about cryptocurrency, but most of them are Engineers, they all find steemit interesting and were already thinking of what to post and share on the STEEMIT platform even before they signed up.
We had little technical fault with the projector, but that did not stop our presentation. First of all, we discussed "BLOCKCHAIN" "BITCOIN" "STEEM" "STEEMIT" and "STEEM BACK DOLLAR" they all had different kind of questions, but I was able to answer all of them.
They were curious about the following:
- Where does the money come from
- How do they make the money
- How to cash out to real paper money.
We all had fun and plan to have more seminars to encourage and show them the right way to use steemit.
