Hello fellow Steemians! I am blessed that @deemarshall has created and provided a place where artists can share there artwork with more people, in her new art gallery called ” Steemit Art Centre, thanks Dee I really appreciate it. I’d like to share this acrylic painting that I finally finished this weekend. I had started painting this several years ago to hang in my kitchen. I never was satisfied by it’s appearance, it never really looked right to me, and the color combination looked wrong with the decor in my kitchen. So I got frustrated and just left it. I found it in my art art room stuffed amongst my artwork and decided to give it another shot, I like the way it turned out, much more vibrant in my eyes. I painted the sky with a different shade of blue that looks more realistic, it is blended much better than before. I sharpened up the chickadees, and enhanced the leafy bush by painting each leaf . The rust colored flowers in the forefront I left alone which matches the colors of my kitchen well, and the white colored flowers, I gave them and extra added punch of peach, and black speckles which go well with the color of the chicks. I am pleased that I found it, now all’s I need to do is make a frame, hopefully I can find some old barn wood, I like the country feel to it. Like many artists do, we get frustrated with a painting and put it aside, I’ve got another one I found that I never did finish that is also acrylic, it’s of an ocean scene. I like it because I glued real sand for on the beach, and real tiny seashells scattered on it. I wanted to give it a three dimensional look, again I couldn’t get the right look and put it aside, for years. I believe I might finish that one to, and share it in the future. Thank you @deemarshall again, and thank you friends who support my efforts, blessings to you all, I pray you will have a wonderful day❣️
