Today I made my first STEEM T-shirt! Do you already have one? Nope? Let's play together again!
Create your own T-shirt, then post it on Steemit! Don't forget the tag: #steemtshirt
Use the STEEM or STEEMIT logos in your art!
Use your fantasy!
You can use any kind of handpainting techniques - acrylic fabric painting, silk painting, wax-batik, textile fibre pen, etc.
Write down step-by-step process!
If your T-shirt is ready, put it on, then ask your friend to take a photo of you. Selfie is also OK!
Only a real handpainted T-shirt is allowed, no Photoshop, no printing!
Link your post as a comment bellow!
The best posts will be rewarded! Reward pool depends on how much SBD this post will earn in one week!
Upvote and resteem is recommended but not obligatory!
I've pieced together a short tutorial as an easy way to create your own.
What do you need?
- T-shirt
- Cardboard template with STEEM-logo, you can easily make it by cutting with a paper-knife.
- Another cardboard to insert between the two layer of the T-shirt - avoid the paint soak!
- Fabric paints - i use Pentart
- Brushes for acrylic, 4-6-10 sizes
- Some water to wash the brushes
- White fibre pen, thin - i use Centropen
Cut a template from a cardboard with paper-knife
Place the template on your T-shirt and draw the contures with white fibre pen
Paint the logo with white, which is a primer paint. Repeat it if needed. If you have a black T-shirt, you need at least 3 white layers before you use colors!
Apply colors:
Draw lines with white fibre pen:
Wait some hours to dry, then iron it carefully.
