STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #43 : Peanuts and chocolate marble!!!

Hello my lovely Steemians!

Today's post is the second part of my entry into this week special Steemit Culinary Challenge organized by the lovely @woman-onthe-wing! With the beautiful theme of Autumn Feast, the contestants have to send 2 recipes, one savory and one sweet.

Three days back I sent my savory entry which was a Chicken and Mozarella Quiche and you can find the recipe here!
So let's discover my sweet entry below! Hope you enjoy it and will try it soon!

As usual a very simple and easy sweet to make but very yummy!!!

Peanuts and chocolate marble!

To make this sweet you will need the following :

  • Peanuts, roasted without skin.
  • Honey
  • Dark chocolate
  • White chocolate

Blend the roasted peanuts to a coarse consistence.
Add the honey to it and mix well to have a sticky mixture.

Once you get the below result, spread the mixture on a plastic film and press to have a 1cm thick square.
Press it well to get a nice compact form.

Melt the dark chocolate and pour it on top of the pressed peanuts.
Cover this side completely with the dark chocolate.
Once completed, put in fridge and let the chocolate to set.

Once set, turn the pressed peanuts and apply dark chocolate on the second side.

Put some drops of melted white chocolate and make the desired design with the help of a toothpick.
Put back in the fridge for a second time till set!

15 minutes later, you can cut the sweets and enjoy!

This peanuts and chocolate is so easy to make and they taste so good, you can enjoy them at anytime of the day! These with some black coffee or tea...hmmm heavenly!

You can also use any other kinds of nuts you wish or simply mix them all and make one! It works perfectly!
