STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #44 : Chocolate and Coconut Candles!!!

Hello my dear Steemit friends!

My post today is my entry in the 44th round of the Steemit Culinary Challenge! I got some delay in posting as I have been getting quite a lot of issue logging in the last days! I hope I still make it on time and my entry is accepted!

So without losing too much time, let me show you how I made my Chocolate and Coconut Candles!

This recipe is very easy to make and you need only a couple of ingredients!

Chocolate and Coconut Candles!

To make these candles you will simply need :

  • Condensed milk
  • White Chocolate
  • Coconut powder
  • Clove for deco

Mix the condensed milk and the coconut powder together to have a nice sticky paste.

This is how the coconut-condensed milk mixture must look.

Roll the mixture like long cylinders.

Roll them in plastic to have a nice smooth form!
Put to set in the fridge for around 1 hour.

In the meantime, mix little oil with the white chocolate and melt it in the microwave.

Take out the coconut cylinders from the fridge and cut in small pieces!

Dip them in the melted white chocolate to have a nice coating and give them a candle look!

Put the clove in the top and your cake will resemble absolutely like a candle!

Make the same process with all the other, once completed put it again for around 15 minutes in the fridge!

And here you are, the chocolate and coconut candles are ready!!!
