OUT OF THE BOX : SANDWICH CHALLENGE ! Guys! So i decided to enter my second Culinary Challenge! The first challenge was alot of fun ! We had to make Sniffle Remedy Soup! As every Saturday night is Hockey Night In Canada, at our house, My sons love it when I make my Mac "N"Cheese Burger Boats! I made it all at once tonight , but you can hollow out your buns , ( I like to choose ones that look like boats ) The night before , and even prep your sliced mushrooms and peppers or whatever veg. You like the night before! It makes it much easier to make on Saturday night so you dont miss any of the hockey games!
OK SO HERES YOUR INGREDIENTS :
(#1) Mix your meat with 1tsp/ each Salt, Pepper, Oregano, Garlic powder. ( or whatever your fav. Mix is!
(#2) hollow out 6 torpedo buns
(#3) slice your Orange Pepper , and Mushrooms you can add onions too if you like!
(#4) make Mac N Cheese acording to pkg. Directions
(#5) Put fries in the Oven
ONCE YOUR MEATIS MIXED , PORTION 6 EQUAL BALLS
THEN SHAPE INTO PATTIES TO FIT BUNS! WASH HANDS , TO GET VEG READY!
YOU CAN NOW PUT YOUR FRIES IN THE OVEN 25 MIN. AND HAVE A BEER, LOL! A SIP ANYWAYS! 🍺
FRY YOUR PATTIES AND PEPPERS WITH MUSHROOMS ! 🍔
AND PREPARE YOUR MAC N CHEESE ! THIS CAN BE DONE AHEAD OF TIME, AND NUKE IT!
HOLLOW OUT BUNS WITH A FORK, AND START LAYERING! Salsa in bottom, add Mac N Cheese, top with patty / Fill other half, the top of bun , with your Fried Peppers and mushrooms! 🍔
ANYONE CAN ALSO ADD KETCHUP, MUSTARD MAYO, ON TOP PATTY IF THEY WANT!🍔
AND HERE THEY ARE ! IM WATCHING HOCKEY WITH MY 2 SONS , SO 3 HERE ON THE PLATTER!
