Greetings this fine fall day.
Squeezing in my photo entry before the deadline.
Fall in the @gardenofeden is truly an exquisite time.
Often we are blessed with an intense array of nature's harvest colors.
If we receive a cold snap early, the colors gifted are just that much more potent.
Fall also means harvest time.
Coming out of our garden are figs, lettuces and greens of all kinds,
dozens of herbs, moringa, wildcrafted plants. tomatoes, gourds, loofahs,
seeds for next years bounty and the all mighty sweet potato.
This first picture was taken on the deck of the upstairs master suite.
Our gourd crop is always prolific,
even this year though we haven't intentionally planted any.
Mother nature is doing her own abundant thing.
Gourds are great for decoration,
for making bowls and pouring vessels,
bird houses, candle holders, and illuminaries.
They are also fun to paint, carve and collage on.
Entry No. 1 - Abundant Harvest
A powerful punch of color from our Bradford Pear Tree.
Taken through the upstairs window, reflecting back into the room
and out the window on the other side.
Entry No. 2 - Reflections Afire!
Autumn leaves fall silently over the field
in the morning kiss of foggy dew.
The colors come alive.
Entry No. 3 - Tranquil Dawn
So grateful to play this game with you.
Best wishes to all those sharing their love for photography.
Special thanks to all the eyes looking over all of these pieces of art.
All photos taken with my Canon Rebel T2i with a Tamron lens.
