Taking a photograph is all about capturing a "moment in time", and this weeks challenge is about capturing "life in the city".
In 79AD Mount Vesuvius erupted, engulfed the city of Pompeii, and buried it under tons of ash. Because of the lack of moisture and air, objects that lay under the ash have been preserved for centuries, and so we have the ultimate moment in time capture of life in a city.
