Steemit Sandwich Contest Week 32- Hummus sandwich

Hummus sandwich

Ingredients:
400g of whole-wheat flour
100g of sharp wheat flour
1 package of dry yeast
3,5 dl of warm water
10g of coconut butter
a teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of pumpkin oil
a tablespoon of seeds (black and white sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds)
few cherry tomatoes
few black olives
1 clove of garlic
parsley
basil
50g of white sesame seeds
400g of chickpeas
3 tablespoons of olive oil
lemon
turmeric powder
curry
salt
200g of garden rocket

Put 400g of whole-wheat flour and 100g of sharp wheat flour in a bowel and mix it with dry yeast and a teaspoon of salt. Add 3,5 deciliters of warm water and 10g of melted cooled coconut butter. Knead the dough and let it rise. The dough rose enough when it gets as ones bigger as it was. Knead it again and cut it on quarters. Roll each peace into an oblong shape and put it on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Let it rise again. Put a few cherry tomatoes and black olives on the top of the dough pieces and slightly press it in. Chop one clove of garlic, some parsley and basil and mix it with three tablespoons of pumpkin oil. Coat the dough with this mixture. Dredge it with a tablespoon of mixed seeds. I used: black and white sesame seeds, flax seeds and sunflower seeds. Bake it around 30 minutes on 180 °C. The bread is baked when is golden-brown color.

Put 50g of white sesame seeds in a pan and roast it on low heat. Be careful not to burn it. Let it cool the put it in a blender and blend it until you get a paste. Put tahini paste out of the blender.
Soak 400g of chickpeas in cold water overnight then boil it for tree hours in salted water. Let it cool then pour away the water but save one cup of it for later. Put chickpeas into the blender and blend it. Add 50 grams of tahini paste and blend it again. Add juice of half of a lemon, a pinch of turmeric powder and curry and 1/4 of a teaspoon of salt. Blend it again then put hummus in a bowel.

Slice your bread on half and spread hummus on bottom slice then cover it with some top of the bread. Serve it with some garden rocket and some lemon slices.
