The Ebola Virus is synonymous with death sentence in some part of West Africa due to a combination of the disease virulence and the low socioeconomic status that prevents efficient and advanced medicare.
There's been a receipt t outbreak of the virus in the central African country and countries around are tightening health regulations to ensure the prevention of the virus into their countries.
However, hope appears to be on the DRC as the WHO has given the green light for the use of Ebola vaccines for health workers and people that have had contact with a confirmed case of Ebola. This vaccine hasn't been approved by regional authorities yet but it is compelling on the WHO to give the green light to help ease the tension in the region.
Ebola can be prevented by basic health hygienes like hand washing,proper disposal of body fluids and infected health waste materials.
