So the team working hard to bring us @steemmonsters have done a fantastic job so far; and it looks like we're only a month or two from actual tournament gameplay which is pretty exciting.
My good mate, @o07 has been running Simpsons gif competitions, getting a heap of great entries each day, which got me thinking perhaps we should kill some time before killing-time; and have some fun with the cards.
I haven't done anything like this before but found it quite easy using https://www.pizap.com
It's all in browser, so no need to download any software, and once you're familiar with the site, actually making stuff is pretty straightforward.
I used Showcard Gothic in Italics for the text, which looks alright, but @blervin suggested this font here, "IM Fell English SC", which I think looks much closer.
Don't feel limited to this format, though. Use the cards, or popular memes or start a few new ones.
Just keep it light and fun, and make me laugh.
