Steem-Powering Public Beauty
Yesterday, I was invited by @successtrainer and @roychoi to visit the work-in-progress of STEEM Park Korea. It was a great excuse to visit the Seoul Forest for the first time before the weather got too cold. The visit ended up being a great experience meeting diverse KR Steemians and witnessing real impact in Korea's capital, all powered with STEEM!
For those who don't about the project, the KR community has been fundraising and mobilizing since late summer to do a Seoul-based iteration of @sndbox's project in Korea. They decided on a crowd-funded mural that incorporates a wall-painting and custom woodworking with donor names. Here are some snapshots of the mural status as of Sunday, 11/12/17.

It was great to see park conservancy workers involved in the project as well. Several steemians including @honeythegreat, @venti, @siritable, @successtrainer, @roychoi, @skuld2000, @toktok, @mintvilla, and @familydoctor were there on site to execute and supervise the installation of what ended up being a 3-walled mural.

As always, Koreans never fail to mingle in fun with the work and the team in good spirits came together for a fun group meal filled with optimist and pride.
