I'm meant to be on a much needed hiatus right now but I can't help but share with you guys how utterly and completely proud I am of @SteemPh.
In my short time here on Steemit, I've been very fortunate to be asked to participate in various community projects.
Most of you that are familiar my work with TeamAustralia, and the other teams that were involved in SteemWars and now SteemLords, know I am totally community driven and that I am always willing to help out.
Recently, I've been honored with an invite to join the core group that make up SteemPh, with my addition to the family, we like to call ourselves 'Core 9'.
Core 9 is comprised of some of the most dedicated, gifted, hardworking people I have ever met. (Watch out for our personal intros coming soon!)
I go to sleep, wake up and they are still working.
These guys are completely focused and totally driven to help the Filipino and Steemit community grow online and offline.
To give you a brief example..
We launched 2 days ago on both Facebook and Steemit (Twitter and Instagram are also now live), and we currently have a boosted post on Facebook.

Then 18 hours ago.. 18 HOURS AGO..
Representatives of @SteemPh and Steemit attended a charity concert fundraiser for the people affected by the crisis in Marawi and presented them with a cheque for $100 SBD.

This money was raised within hours by Core 9 and our witness @cloh76 (@cloh76.witness). We were on a massive high after the launch so SBD was flying towards SteemPh in all directions lol
The concert may be over, but the fundraising never stops and the charity work will continue. Our work with Red Cross Philippines is far from done and we are committed to helping the people of Marawi.
I look at the last 3 days with a sense of wonder and pride, and gratitude for being given this opportunity to help the Filipino Community and spread Steemit to the world.
And to think, we've only just begun.
We have exciting plans ahead and would love for you all to be part of the @SteemPh Family.
