Save the Date and visit our Steemit Booth on April 15
@aalagenesis posted this on facebook a few days ago and I'm so sorry I missed her intial post here on steemit about her fund raising for an art workshop for the children of Manila.
When the organizers at the UP Machine Design Summit asked for help to also sponsor their Car Show, I thought it would be a great way to promote steemit and cyptocurrency to potential investors of the platform. A chance to get in touch with people who have money to spend on cars, money to spend on cryptocurrency, money to spend on CHARITY. It was also a great way to get the word about Steemit Philippines out there, especially with us being featured in Inq Pop, the online Pop culture website of Philippine Daily Inquirer (the Philippine's largest and most widely read newspaper).
We were thinking of how to use the booth for promotion and fundraising, amazingly enough, things fall into place. To assist @aalagenesis in raising the Php 20,000 ~ USD$384 for her project, we invited her and her artist friends to sell artwork at our Steemit Booth.
If you are an artist and also have art work that you want to donate to this initiative, please comment below before April 15 so we can coordinate with you.
Here is the planned breakdown of the budget we are helping her raise:
Php 150 per set of Art Materials x 100 kids = Php 15,000
Food for 100 kids and 25 volunteers = Php 5,000
Collaboration are also in the works with @minatubo in sending some gifts in a balikbayan box to these children. If you have food or art materials you also want to donate, please let us know. We truly appreciate all the help!

Visit the Steemit booth on April 15 at the UP Town Center to help with this fundraiser, bring your friends to experience a Carshow with a Vintage Car Exhibit, see Tamiya cars on display, Remote Control cars drifting on a mini Race track, amazing Rock Bands, and watch out for the Steemit talk during the concert!
