SteemPH goes to Musikalye Concert

Last Sunday,August 26 was an exciting day for SteemPh where we joined artists and musicians in a day of expression with different groups through the initiative of YAKAL (Yakapin ang ating Kultura't Kalikasan Alay sa Lipunan).

For non-English speakers, it states that YAKAL is formed to renew the culture of our Native Filipinos that is slowly disappearing along with our care for the healing of our Mother nature for the betterment of the Philippines.

Musikalye is a yearly event hosted by YAKAL which aims to uplift our Filipino heroes. In the new age, YAKAL and Musikalye gives attention to modern heroes firstly to the Filipino workers that create to the riches of our Country, which includes industrial workers, farmers, fishermen, doctors, teachers, drivers, any many more. In this day of crisis and poverty, YAKAL gives importance to the subject of family where the Father and Mother are the heroes who are ready to give their all for their families.

Musikalye, through music, singing, poetry, arts and other medium will be a call to our fellow Filipinos to find their true social justice and freedom.

We had a quick talk about SteemPH during the program by @luvabi explaining what is detailed in the fliers created by @bearone to invite artists in sharing the Filipino talent and our rich cultural heritage to the world. Artists on steemit like @flabbergast-art @jareyalidad were also present.

It was an honor indeed to be on the same stage as these talented individuals and groups.

One of which was an artist, Fidel Arteta who painted a mural while the music was playing on the stage.
