“LINEWORK” - Original Poem (Steem Poetry Slam Challenge Entry)

Erase, redraw.
Stubborn shapes begin to thaw.

Support, a pole.
One line more and I am whole.

A roof, the angle.
Shingles lay, pray not to tangle.

The door, a swoop.
Windows peer across the stoop.

Fly in, fly by.
Lucky lines fit in first try.

Slack and sill.
Walls align and wait to fill.

Collage, rejoice.
Linework play and stray by choice.

Thank you for reading! This was my first poem on Steemit. I had some fun with it and designed a few original animated GIFs to compliment the poetry. Hope you enjoyed!
