On 30th January 1994, a big fire broke out, burning out the Tian Gong Yi Yuan, a large department store and unfortunately, the adjacent Wangxingji Fan Factory, with all its workshops and raw materials burned to ash too. However, this biggest fan---2.6m high and 5m long (after being unfolded) should be intact except some marks and stains left while being rescuing from the fire.
