Inspired by @adrianobalan, @sardrt and their project – @petals, I decided to start a personal photo project: Spontaneous Flora of Romania.
I went through the personal archive and chose some photos that I hope will be enough until the spring really starts (the temperature is now -7 ° C and -12 ° C yesterday).
The photos will bear the Romanian popular name alongside the Latin name.
In addition to this, I will also add the possible uses of these plants in traditional cuisine and as medicinal herbs.
Please comment if you know other names of the plants and especially if the Latin name is wrong.

Am trecut prin arhiva personală și am ales câteva fotografii pe care sper că le va fi suficiente până când începe cu adevărat primăvara (temperatura este acum -7 ° C și ieri erau -12 ° C).
Fotografiile vor purta numele populare din România alături de numele latin.
În plus, voi adăuga și posibilele utilizări ale acestor plante în bucătăria tradițională și ca plante medicinale.
Vă rog să comentați dacă știți alte denumiri ale plantelor și mai ales dacă numele latin este greșit.
The thermal lotus is endemic in the Peţa River valley (Lacul cu nuferi – the Lake with Nenuphars, also called the Great Eye, from the Pețea Nature Reserve) and is protected by law.
Unfortunately, the unreasonable and illegal exploitation of the thermal waters in the area endanger the existence of this beautiful flower plant.
